class=\"column\">\n<p><strong>WOODBEATS<\/strong> was created in 2016 by the choreographer and dancer Anna Llombart with the aim of making percussive dance a means to tell stories. Merging the disciplines of tap dance, body percussion and performance, she has worked since then to develop her own plastic language where rhythm becomes the backbone of the artistic expression, intimately linked to dramatic discourse. The Great-grand escape arises from this very aim. It is the result of a commission from the AUCER (Cerdanya University Association) to take part in the Nit de les Arts (Night of the Arts) . In order to work on the performing side, stage director Toni Sans joined the artistic team.
